Friday, July 30 2010 @ 05:21 AM MDT Police K-9 Funeral The funeral is going to be Monday January 14th at Camp Pendleton. The ceremony is going to be in 11 area parade deck at 11:30. Handlers should wear there long sleeve K-9 uniform, and K-9's are welcome. When you go in the front gate at Pendleton, just ask the MP's to guide you to area 11 parade deck. Also please arrive early, so you can get on the base on time. I'm sure there is going to be a big showing, and it may take a while to get on the base.

Remembering Stryker
The Oceanside Police department would like to thank everyone in support of Stryker; the Police K9 that was killed after a drunken man jumped off the Coronado Bridge and took Stryker with him. The police department has set up a memorial fund in memory of Stryker. If you wish to send donations you can simply send a check made payable to the City of Oceanside with "K9 Fund" referenced in the memo section. The donations can be brought to the Police Department or mailed to: Oceanside Police Department Attention: Lt. Fred Armijo 3855 Mission Avenue Oceanside, CA 92054 A memorial service will be held for Stryker on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. The ceremony is opened to the public. Its really sad when your best friend passes away. I've read an essay
about the sadness the passing of a dear dog had on the write. I suffered the same thing when my dear Tommy died. My friends urged me to write my essay
and move on with my life.
